nose powdering

Last week my kitchen and bath class took a field trip to a local kitchen and bath showroom.  To say that my design senses were outta control is an understatement.  Every time I turned around I saw a new fixture I wanted to have in my own home one day.  By the end of the trip I realized that I will probably never live in a home with 12 bathrooms so I should probably narrow it down to one or two of my favorite.

Anyway, to the point...as we were being shown around the showroom manager mentioned that she has been seeing more and more powder room and guest bath projects.  The reasoning is that during a recession people are putting their big master bath retreat projects on hold and spending money on spaces that are seen by everyone and not just the homes owners. Totally made sense to me, I might do the exact same thing if I owned a home.

To get in the guest bath / powder room designing mood (since I have approx 2,334,435 bath elevation drawings to finish by tomorrow) I thought I'd share some of my favorites

Ok heaven on earth with that 3rd picture. The cabinet, mirror, wallpaper....all of it....to die for.
